Kati’s desire to understand the factors behind organizational success ignited during her long tenure with business responsibility and leadership roles in expert organizations.
Why do some teams collaborate smoothly and produce outstanding results, while others experience constant friction and challenges in working together? Why does 1 + 1 sometimes equal more than 2 in some teams, filling the workplace with a good spirit, while in others, individuals operate like solo entrepreneurs, and the outcomes are pieced together somewhat forcibly?
Kati’s strong mission is to help all kinds of teams succeed. Whether it’s an executive team, a board, or an expert team, an organization’s success depends on the performance and energy of these units. Improving a culture of good communication, dialogue, collaboration and practices is often at the core of her coaching.
Kati’s development and coaching work is also grounded in strategic understanding. Her extensive experience in various organizations and industries allows her to quickly grasp the core tasks, goals, and influencing factors. Good questions, new perspectives, insights — these often arise when working with Kati.
In both individual and group coaching, Kati prioritizes creating a trusting and safe environment. She engages participants and initiates active thinking and development processes, challenging the status quo when necessary and guiding them constructively toward their goals. She uses facilitation and active methods in her coaching sessions when they support the group’s objectives, and she effectively leads both in-person and remote coaching sessions and workshops. She believes in the power of learning together and that change is possible when those driving the change are involved in the process.
Kati holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration (M.Sc. Econ.), is a solution-focused work supervisor (STO ry), and a Systemic Team Coach©. Kati is also a certified EASI interaction and motivation coach, Peili© behaviour style coach, and is skilled in facilitation as a means of working effectively with groups.
